A 2-year-old female was admitted to the emergency department due to severe abdominal pain.
The patient was diagnosed with fecal impaction. Post-hospitalization, she presented painful tetany, but was alert and oriented. Investigations confirmed severe hyperphosphatemia and secondary hypocalcemia.
